George Institute of Capital Market Studies Launched
Kolkata, May 08: Keeping up with the
recent changes in SEBI guidelines in today’s investment sector, The George
Telegraph Group, the pioneer of vocational training in Eastern India has launched
its new educational initiative The
George Institute of Capital Market Studies. Mr.
Subrata Dutta, Director, The George Telegraph Group, Mr. Ashes Bhaduri, Mr.
Rahul Ray – the first Sebi Registered Licensed Investment Advisor(Under New
Regulation ) from Eastern India, and Ms.
Mamata Binani – Practicing CS & past chairperson of Institute of Companies
Secretaries of India ( Eastern Region – 2010 )
were present at the launch. The
institute will offer a curriculum on Post Graduate Certificate in Investment
& Wealth Management.
Speaking on the occasion Mr. Subrata Dutta, Director, The George Telegraph Group said “The George Telegraph Group has all along imparted education through more than fifty vocational courses to the youth of the nation with the sole objective to give them a career. To keep up with the tradition, the new institute will be the first of its kind in West Bengal and will provide a tremendous opportunity to the students in today’s economy”
S.O.S. By Tanmay Bose's Son Shiladitya Enters In Top Chart
Kolkata, July 5: Shiladitya Bose, son of tabla
maestro Pandit Tanmay Bose launched his first album S.O.S. It’s an album of
electronic dance music. In a way this album is a trend setter in the
fraternity. The song has been launched to itunes and already took place in Sa
Re Ga Ma top charts. Shiladitya, who is also a disciple of father, also share
his birthday on the same day and this actually is a birthday gift from his
parents. Usha Uthup, Ustad Rashid Khan, Debojyoti Mishra, Agnimitra Paul, June Malia and Indranil
Sen were present at Bose’s own food court ‘Wasabee’ to encourage the “maestro
in making”.

A Musical Evening Remembering MAHANAYAK with Rajlakshmi Shyam
Kolkata, May 06: Eminent designer Rajlakshmi
Shyam celebrated an evening through playing piano in the tunes of ‘MAHANAYAK’
Uttam Kumar. Through the musical evening Rajlakshmi, who also is an acclaimed pianist,
mesmerizes the audiences with the touch of her fingers. She actually paid the
tribute to MAHANAYAK and his NAYIKAS. Social activist Saira Shah Halim plays
the role of narrator in the entire musical evening. Rajlakshmi said that, “When
I am in my childhood, I met MAHANAYAK and it still remains live in my heart.”
Director Manoj Michingan, Sanjoy Nag, ace designer Lopamudra Mandal Saha, Elena
Banik and Sujoy Prasad Chattopadhyay also graced the programme.
