Kolkata, April 02: Veteran director
Swapan Saha coming up with his new project with some real new faces. His new
film named ‘SHOPPINGMALL.COM’ will hit the silver screen in Independence Day
this year. The film will create a genre apart from previous Swapan Saha movies
and the format has been never told like this. Swapan Babu said that, “The film
is set in Kolkata and outskirts and is all about thrill, comedy, romance and
love for one’s nation which they explore more and more in a span of night.”
Director chosen the fresh faces; Souptic portrays the male lead and Mimma
portrays his counterpart. Souptic is
very well known face of television as he is the male lead of ‘Jal Nupur’ and
Mimmi is from advertisement background. The film also stars Subhasish Mukherjee,
Diganta Bagchhi too. The story and script has been written by Pele
Bhattacharya. Eminent music director Ashok Bhadra composed the tune for ‘SHOPPINGMALL.COM’.
Souptic, in film is a young guy
who has a great mind but accidentally got involved with a drug peddling
circuit. Mimmi, is a ambitious simple girl who is in search of a job to support
her family. They suddenly met in a shopping mall and then their every feeling
revolves with the frames. The film also has a strong message for our society as
every Swapan Saha films have.
