Bannerjee, a Birbhum born man who ranked 4th and 5th
respectively in his Madhyamik and Higher Secondary Examination; now sealed the
1st rank for his innovation in Indian Education System. We all just enjoy the facilities of any system
but Arghya, along with his better half Asima thought of something new. He
resigned from his high profile job and establishment in London and decided to
come back in India and tried to work for the Indian Education Arena. In India, especially in West Bengal there is
a myth that only educationists can think about education method and they are
also the power of attorney holder for modification of syllabus.
In the year 2010, Arghya and
Asima have been started their very own “THE LEVELFIELD SCHOOL”; from Siuri.
Their thought is that, better quality education at an affordable price for
small town population. There is no home-work for the students. The main theme is
conception building. THE LEVELFIELD SCHOOL just is setting up the standards of
their students so high. As per Nationwide Asset Test results, THE LEVELFIELD
SCHOOL stood among the top ten schools of the country while students did not
English ‘barely’ four years ago.
The dynamic Arghya said that, “We are happy
that our children are doing well. We are interested in finding growth partners
so that we can open more branches for the school. We just want to provide the
small town talents the field to play and compete with the city students by
standing on a level, that’s why we have planned LEVELFIELD.” On the other hand
Asima said that, “We have a policy of no private-tuitions, no textbooks and no
homework. We focus on skills rather than knowledge.” The school currently has
handsome roll strength of 300 children.
