Kolkata, April 12: Star Kids of Bollywood
Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt visited Kolkata's new INOX at Quest Mall to promote their upcoming film ‘2
States’, based on the same name novel of eminent author Chetan Bhagat. Arjun
and Alia both have a couple of superhit film under their belt already. Alia,
who debuted with K Jo’s “Student Of The Year” has been raises expectation level
with the blockbuster “Highway”. On the other hand Arjun debuted with “Ishaaqzaade”
and then did a dual role in “Aurangzeb”. He also was the one of the lead part
in “Gunday” that has been mostly shot in Kolkata. Arjun reminiscence, “Kolkata
is my favourite city as I stayed here for a long for my film Gunday. I also
thinking about that, this time I am going to act for a Dharma production film; with
which I assisted film like ‘Kaal Ho Naa Ho’.” Alia is very confident about her
role. Said, “I read the novel before I signed the film and I think I can
portray the character of a South Indian girl but this will be challenging.”

ARFAMUTE : Star Studded Red Carpet Fashion Event In Kolkata
Kolkata,April 12: Rajlakshmi Creations had
organised an unique cultural event ARFAMUTE recently. The red carpet night turned
to a star-studded event actually. Eminent music director Debojyoti Mishra, painter
Wasim Kapoor, eminent poet Subodh Sarkar and noted artist Ilina Banik also have
been seen on the night along with designer Lopamudra Mandal Saha, Ishita
Chakraborty, Deepta Chakravarty was also graced the event. After a long time
ace designer Lopamudra Mandal Saha walked in the ramp carrying Rajlakshmi's
collection. Danish Ambassador to India, HE Freddy Svane was present as the
Chief Guest. Designer Lopamudra said that, “I am walking in ramp after a long
time. It is a great pleasure for me to showcase a huge collection in front of
such a beautiful people present here. Rajlakshmi and her collection is honestly my very
favourite and I am present here today only for her.”
CALL BUDDY COUTURE IN THE CITY

Agarwal, city’s known knick knack designer brings Call Buddy Couture to the
City of Joy. In a programme in presence of Alokananda Roy, Koneenica Banerjee,
Nilanjana Chakrobarty and Rajlakshmi Shyam; the city witnessed an exquisite
range of lifestyle utility merchandises like clutch bags and pouches. The couture
also showcased exclusive sarees. On the occasion Ms. Agarwal said that, “there
is not only a blend between the contemporary and traditional but also it
establishes a new category of light and heavy sarees.”
