The Mission Hospital Performs A Successful Angioplasty On A 60 Year-Old Patient

Durgapur, March 18: Dr. Paresh Nath Mitra was detected with myocardial infarction at Katwa Hospital and was later suggested to The Mission Hospital, Durgapur offering excellent cardiac care infrastructure on 12th March 2014. Within four hours of the attack, the 60 year-old patient from Katwa, Bardhaman underwent ECG and echo cardiography at the hospital and was diagnosed with Inferior Wall Miocardial Infarction. He was then shifted to the cathlab for an angiogram revealing a blockage in right coronary artery. A successful angioplasty was performed post which the patient was transferred to the cardiac care unit (CCU) and was later discharged on March 15.
