Kolkata, March 17: Berger Paints and with Power 107.8 FM celebrated Holi with an aim to add colours of fun to the lives of some street children along with celebrated painter Wasim Kapoor and renowned fashion designer Agnimitra Paul. In a celebration at South City Mall, there enjoyed 50 children from Hope Foundation. Thay have put their hand marks on a blank canvas with various colours and finally Wasim Kapoor finished it with his magical touch. Mr. Kapoor said that, “I am very happy today. I have seen so many holi in my life but this the best holi I have ever enjoyed.” Agnimitra Paul said that, “I actually works with designs and colours but the colourful hand of the children are vibrant than any colour.” Mr. Avijit Dutta, Chief Manager, Berger Paints India Ltd and Ms. Geeta Venkada Krishnan, Director, Hope Foundation also graced the celebration programme. The program was hosted by RJ. Varun. Speaking at the occasion, Geeta Venkada Krishnan, Director, Hope Foundations said, “Holi is one of the most joyous as well as enthusiastic festival of India people from every age group participate in the celebration. I am very delighted to see these children participating in the Holi celebration. Everyone in the team voiced their eagerness and enthusiasm to host these children and thus we decided to celebrate HOLI today along with the renowned painter Wasim Kapoor. This is a small gesture from our end on this colorful festival and we sincerely hope that a small gesture will make a bit of difference to the lives of the little ones.”
