05: Asia's largest DTH service provider DISH TV launched their new
brand “ZING” which has been specially conceptualized for the regional viewers. ZING
starts its journey from West Bengal as it will be followed by the other states
starting from Orissa. It will provide 26 superb quality Bengali Channels and
Services to the people in an affordable rate. The starter pack named as “Shubharambh”;
then “Anando” and “Utsav” will be the high end packs. The minimum packs with
around 140+ channels will cost about 149 rupees and those who are the existing
customer of DISH TV will enjoy the all 26 Bengali Channels with their monthly
pack of 220 rupees but there is no option to upgrade DISH TV to ZING directly.
For using ZING anyone should have to purchase a ZING Box.

a digital base. DISH TV has always been at the forefront of offering unique

an entirely new brand ZING for the benefit of our esteemed customers in West
Bengal.”
On the other hand Chief Operating
Officer (COO) of DISH TV India Mr. Salil Kapoor said that, “TV contain consumption
preferences are different across various states of India. ZING is a unique
initiative from DISH TV. Here not only packages cater to specific audiences
across states, but even communication will be in the customer’s language of
choice.”
