ILEAD Hosted Seminar On School Education

Kolkata, July 11: ILEAD hosts a seminar on Empowering School Education through Information and Communication Technology. Mr. Hirdyesh Mohan, Secretary, Technical Education and Training Department were the guest of honour. He said that, “Information Technology as well as Information and Communication Technology is very must in today’s educational sector. It is as urgent as any basic need of our daily life. So, to empower the fraternity we must have to go through Information and Communication Technology. Curator of Birla Industrial and Technological Museum Dr. Abdullah Mondal, Ex-Regional Co-Ordinator of Intel Educational Initiative Malini Mukherjee also were present in the seminar.

AAKASH INSTITUTE CELEBRATED SUCCESS WITH JWALA GUTTA AND KK

Kolkata, July 13: Aakash Institute, one of the pioneer mentoring institutes celebrated their grand success through a grand ceremony. The students of the institute, who are better known as ‘Aakashians’ proved themselves in the field of Entrance Examination with a bang and that’s why the institute gifted them a gala evening. National Champion Badminton player Jwala Gutta was present there to give the award to the toppers. Eventually, this is the first time Jwala visited Kolkata. Around 500 students have been felicitated in the award giving ceremony. After the award giving ceremony, ace singer K.K. performed for the students.

WORLD MUSIC DAY with MAHAJONI GAAN



Kolkata, June 22: West Bengal State Akademi of Dance Drama Music and Visual Arts celebrated World Music Day at Jorasnako Thakurbari with almost obsoleted “MAHAJONI GAAN”. It has the tradition of 300 years. Songs of seven noted Padokarta, namely; Bhabopreeta Ojha, Deen Saaroth, Jadubindu, Rashiduddin, Haure Gosain, Bijoy Sarkar and only alive Padokarta Sadhan Das Boiragya have been sung in the programme. Chairman of West Bengal State Akademi of Dance Drama Music and Visual Arts as well as the Vice-Chancellor of Rabindra Bharati University, Mr. Sabyasachi Basu Roy Chowdhury inaugurated the musical evening and Sri ranjan Prasad and Malabashree Das also were present at the said ceremony.
