Kolkata, April 14: Mumtaz Sorcar, daughter of eminent
magician P.C. Sorcar Jr. and her friend Mayuri Bhattacharya initiated a project
named FIGHT BACK from the beginning of the 2014. Then the two energetic ladies have
done such a marvellous job. From the inception of FIGHT BACK, the main motto
was to empower women to not only protect her from some physical assault but
also to empower mentally. These days, women are suffering from an enormous
insecurity in their residence as well as their workplace. Mumtaz is providing
martial art training to the women. She
also is doing counselling to re-establish their mental strength. Mumtaz and Mayuri
recently launched their FIGHT BACK Calendar in presence of P.C.Sorcar Jr.,
Joyshree Sorcar, Maneka Sorcar and Moubani Sorcar. The calendar featured those eminent
women faces, already have broken the barriers of the patriarchal society. In a
launch programme at Mukti World, there are galore of trendsetter like Jojo,
Sarbari Datta, Jaya Seal Ghosh, Lopamudra Mandal Saha, Saira Shah Halim, Sujoy
Prasad Chatterjee, Joy Sarkar, Arijit Dutta and Paroma Bannerjee.
